Summary is a collaborative work with RICHard SMOLinski, whereby we composed phrases, then organized them into patterns, suspending the words vertically. A summary is usually understood as the brief recapitulation of the main points of a larger document or narrative, a process that dispenses with needless details to point towards the essential. In our version of Summary, we created a series of textual tapestries that decline to make an exhaustive and cogent argument, instead offering the viewer metaphorical and epigrammatic insights.
