Conveying loss and longing, words are inserted into fragile, hand-cast pattern paper husks, the phrases pointing to emptiness and uncertainty. The pods are stitched together and wound with sisal rope, the cluster suspended from a rock found at Kingsburg Beach, Nova Scotia, near my parent’s home.
